>I used the word "we" to represent the the

>Mr. Chandan Mahanta >who spread the rumor about
>Dr. Mamoni R. Goswami.
*** First off, I was not aware that assamnetters
were conjoined twins of mine, who need
separating. Most, if not all, except perhaps some
utterly deluded individuals, are fairly
independent minded, usually able to make
judgements on where to stand on different issues,
depending upon the merits of each. I don't know
anyone who stands by me, come hell or high water,
regardless of what the subject is.
But I am willing to bet a rupee that MOST netters
would stand by me that *I*, Chandan Mahanta of
St. Louis, DID NOT FABRICATE the news ( or rumor
as HT sees it) about Kirip Chaliha's
recommendation for people supporting an UN
supervised plebiscite, like Mamoni Goswami, be
thrown behind bars. And certainly not because I
did so to hurt her persona or her reputation.
Anyone continuing to believe and assert that it
was a RUMOR and that it was MY fabrication, would
indicate a serious psychiatric condition at the
very least.
>The netters may like to distance themselves from
>the network of secret-informers of Mr. Chandan
>Mahanta.
*** They indeed may. But let us not forget: Xogunor xawot burha goru nomore'.
cm
PS: I am sending out a request to our very own
Large Animal Shrinkologist, Dr. Tilok Hatimuria,
certified Goru Daktor , a native of Dokkhin
Joikaisuk, to see if he can analyze it for the
benefit of baffled Netters how MY posting of the
news and queries about its details might have
been interpreted or understood by HT as designed
to "hurt Mamoni". I will let netters know what
the daktor's findings are :-).
