Ki kwahe'? Ami ki bhrom bokw neki oxom-jaalot? Do we really 'rant'?
I know you are just being self-deprecating out of your innate sense
of humilty. If some think they do, they ought to go get their heads
examined by our very own Tilok Daktor of Dogpatch in the High Ozarks.

I am glad to hear that others listen in. If the movers and shakers at
Dispur do, that much better. We know the Sekurity-wallas and spooks
from Indraprastha do. Too bad they are pre-occupied with waving the
the super-sinister ISI boogie-man to join in the discourse. I do
understand however that desi-patriotism tottering at the brink,
could not survive a week without the fear of the dreaded ISI
conjured up by the spooks and the 'invader' invokers . In that I will
give the spooks and the sekurity-wallas a pass--from never
participating , while listening in surreptitiously in this
never-ending juhalor-mel of us kharkhowas and markhowas.

BTW, I take the opportunity to respectfully invite our friends from
Assam, the powerful as well as the
'nirih' and the disenfranchised, to chime in; to join the debates
and discussions, even if they are of a 'xaak-khowa, bhat-khowa'
kind. I have been told, my sometime use of use strident language
deters people from participating. While I plead guilty to the
charge, I can assure the possible participants that I respect all
view-points, and get nasty only with those who try to slip in
something deleterious to Oxom's interests in the guise of something
else or those who are patently disingenuous. I never get nasty with
well meaning people, even those whose views I do not agree with.

Finally a direct invitation to the dignitaries from Dispur to pitch
in. We will all benefit from that. There may be an occasional
confrontation or contentious debate. Bet these are always civil. We
also know, by and large, not to be disrespectful to public servants,
regardless of our personal views of the matters under discussion.
We can and do separate the personalities from the issues. So, please
do participate. You will do Assam a favor.
