Because you are the only one in the net who seems to have a point 'why
independence is necessary'. Do you see any others in the net?
All others seem to be happy with the status quo unless someone like you
wake them with a point of view.

Theindependenceseekersrealized,rightly,thatsuccessiveAssamGovts.sinceind

imprisoned,almostalwayswithouttrial.THeIndianintelligentsia,soproudofthe

vernmentshighlyundemocraticactions.SuchwasthestateofIndianDemocracy.Thed
isaffecteddecidedthatIndiangovernmentanditsagents,theAssamGovts.,wouldne
verrespondtotheirneeds.Outofdesperationstheytooktoarms,tobreakfreefromIn
dianrule,andthus,amongotherthings,re-shapetheirgovernmenttofittheirneeds
:Political,economic,culturalandwhathaveyou.
Idon'tknowanyone,inAssam,elsewhereinIndiaorabroad,whowouldnotwanttoseean
