[Assam] The Petition

May I suggest that those who could not sign the petition write letters to 
the editors of the different Assam news papers, weeklies etc giving their 
views on the issue. Not only from the NRAs , but also those from within 
Assam.
Weeklies like Sadin, Asam Bani etc are quite popular.
By overwhelming and deluging the media, I feel we may be able to achieve. It 
is not that every one is submerged in the hobo diok attitude, but the thing 
is how do you voice what you want to say. Take the case of Prantik or Dainik 
Asam, it is not understood why they refuse to take up the issue as if it 
does not exist. Also, not clear why Assam tribune and sentinel adopted the 
change in such a hurry, which must have even surprised the propogators of 
the change.
The issues Rajen raises are very obvious and go without saying, but are not 
generally voiced in the open.
