Dear Ashish,
I completely agree with you and Manoj. Let us pray for the Peace of the Souls of innocent people who lost their lives in these senseless killings. Add to this the terrible news of 31 children of poor families killed in Noida (maybe for their organs as commented by a senior official in New Delhi with whom I talked by telephone) apparently with police connivance right there in New Delhi. Add to that the 7,000 innocent brides killed annually all over India for dowry. Add to that the number of Assamese killed in the trains that must run through Bihar. The list goes on an on.
It appears like a collapse of civilization. We must stand up with one voice to stop all these brutalities --- killings & reprisals --- by differentiating people from people by their so called hereditary caste, gender, language, financial condition, etc.
Senseless terrorist killings flourish in fanaticism, with which people differentiate themselves into different identities. In his March 2006 book "Identity & Violence", Dr. Amartya Sen, Nobel Laureate Harvard Professor, has suggested many identities of any human being as an answer to the "singular identity" advocated by another Harvard Professor Samuel Huntington who predicted a major intercivilizational war between core states in his influential 1996 book "The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of the World Order." Professor Huntington based his argument on a system of singular categorization of human beings along his so-called civilizational lines, which closely follow all kinds of divisions made up with religion, hereditary caste, gender, language, financial condition, etc.
In this debate of Huntington's "singular identity" vs. "many identities" by Amartya Sen, I wrote the drama NIRVANA where I invoked the wisdom of "no identity" from particle physics.
Human Consciousness, first observed when a caveman etched a hunting graphic on a cave wall --- precursor of Leonardo Da Vinci's paintings and scientific imaginations ---- gradually developing into a faculty of logic and science, helps us today travel two million light years to the Andromeda Galaxy with our mind in the drama NIRVANA. When we look back, earth appears as a dust particle. We are all dust particles, rather subatomic electronic particles, getting arranged and rearranged at birth and death.
Please help stage this drama in all languages everywhere in India. Let people see the Truth. Let all the killings come to end. Let me quote Dr. Satyaprakash Agarwal's Introduction of NIRVANA:
"Life is so rare, so lovable, so precious ! Life can grow, Life can adjust, Life can evolve ! It is a miracle ! Life gave us the most precious gift of Consciousness and Logic. At a lower level of instinctive life, there is pain which we can defeat by taking care of each other with the same Consciousness and Logic that show us the Sky. We see love in the sky . which is a supreme vision in Chandogya Upanishad "yadeva kham tadeva kam iti" . whatever is Sky so is Love.
To take care of each other affectionately in the society is lokasangraha which needs causeless love . niskama prema . as its prerequisite. I congratulate Shri Thakur for preparing the ground for this fundamental concept in his drama "Nirvana.""
With love to everybody,
Himendra

I cannot help but agree with Manoj Das---This is clear move to divide
Assam so that the bangladeshi scums can occupy Assam and eat into the
vitals of the great Assamese Culture----God save Assam--wish these
illeagal migrants are told where they belong.Wish ULFA would clear their
stand on the Bangladesh issue and come out clean on their commitment to
their cause of a beautiful Assam and not succumb to the whims and fancies
of the Bangladeshi pigs and ISI.
God Save Assam and Long LIve Assam
I remain an ardent Fan of Assam ,its culture and it pains and distubs
to see the state disintgrate at the hands of people with vested
interests.
