[Assam] :Racism: Have we all been taken for a ride?

Dear Alpana baideu,

This is very complex and will take many more generations to clear up. Even
in Assam, despite our clamour of Assamese sub/nationhood, none really
exist. That becomes evident during seeking marriage partners.

Now internet has proven to be a panacea. I saw lot of inter-caste marriages,
while the parents were still searching for a true blooded gotra alliance,
thanks to orkut/google or icq or yahoo chat. Actually being born into a
caste/race is an accident on which the individual had no control. But he/she
definitely can control the behaviour/or.

Regards
Manoj
