[Assam] NETV Interview

Friends:
According to information received, recently, NETV took surprised video
interviews of the following prominent Assamese individuals residing in
New Delhi and asked questions if they prefer to change the name of Assam
to Asom or oppose the change.  Everybody voiced strongly against
changing the name and for keeping the original name Assam. 
 
NETV broadcast the interview widely in Assam.
 
We thank the individuals for taking part in the interview and supporting
the name Assam.
