Good going Chitta.

This is a frequent problem when we expect others outside our communities to
know about personalities. And this is not just in India. It is a problem in
the US too.

For one thing, people outside base their stories/bios modt of the time on
what We tell them. While the press or TV ought to actually go beyond that
and try and get more information from different sources, it often just boils
down to beating print deadlines.

I agree with you that we all need to contribute and keep uptodate on what is
places like the list on Assam.org.

But Dr. Das' efforts are commendable. He has at least taken the right steps
to set things right on this issue.
