[Assam] Lord Ram and the secular Taliban

hmmm.. I was also confused about what has Ram to do with Taliban. :-(
While thinking and digesting new (to me at least) terms like 'Secular
Taliban', 'JNU mafia' etc; Mr. Athale seemed to me some near-cousin of N.S.
Rajaram and Dr. Natwar Jha. Because he is also one discovering
himself overnight as 'historian' without first studying how historians
really work.

It is really amazing why people suddenly become 'historians' and try to
oppose Sethusamunda-ram canal citing about religious beliefs ONLY!! There
are plenty of other sound reasons to opose it -- and Economic reasons at its
top.
