Assam Institute of Management has been promoted by the Government of Assam to give a fillip to the professional management movement in the North Eastern region. Apart from offering one of the most cost-effective PGDBM programmes in the country, AIM undertakes considerable research, consultancy and training works. The institute is immediately looking for filling up TWO faculty vacancies in Marketing & Economics areas, who can contribute to the institute’s drive towards professional excellence, social relevance and academic brilliance.

In addition, the institute is looking for Temporary Project Associates in diverse fields. Post graduates in Engineering or Management with a flair for project works may apply.

The Institute offers UGC equivalent payscales. Appointments would be contractual for a maximum period of five years. Applicants must be at least AICTE approved PGDBMs or MBAs under the semester/trimester system. Those with PhDs (or equivalent) or in the final stage of their doctoral research or having at least five years of post-qualification work experience having an academic bent of mind may be given preference. A uniformly good academic career is a MUST.





Applicants should preferably be PhDs or those who are in the final stage of their doctoral work in Economics with considerable field research experience. They should have adequate knowledge and experience of Research Methodology and have good communication and analytical abilities.
