*** Hate as I do to admit it, it is unfortunately the truth.

Assam has no dearth of able, imaginative people who are eminently 
capable of finding creative solutions to its unique problems.  But 
the weak links , or more precisely the non-existent links are:

	*** A dysfunctional system of governance.
	*** A culture of dependency the established is steeped in.
	*** Lack of imagination of its intelligentsia.
	*** Decades of failures inspiring a state of despondency that 
robs people of their
	      self esteem and making them risk averse.

But those of us who know better , must raise our voices to undo what 
these forces have been doing for Assam.
