Friends,
Few weeks ago I did mentioned about historic pukhuries like Jaljalee,Burheenagar,Jaipal etc.
Last evening I got information from my native home that Jaljalee pukhuri made in the name of Jaljalee Kuwari of last Darranga Raja is being digged up to renovate.But surprisingly now lot many things are coming up from the bottom of the huge tank bed.Temples, Stair case to down etc, Statues and lot more.All stared to be from 10-11th century.Miracle!!
Of course ASI is sleeping, they are yet to reach.
As we dnt have any written history and World believes upon that written by the americans or Mughals.This willgive new dimensions to our glorious past.I request people of GHY to visit immediately.
Jaljalee is located 5 miles west of Mangaldai.One can reach by taking left turn at Aulachowka and to Janaramchowka.From Janaram chowka its 2 miles north.Road from Aulachowka is called McEnzie Rd to kalaigaon-Udalguri.
