Dear Alpana Baideo,
WE are unable to do things for our Assam and NE.I feel thinking for Africa is far cry.America will take care of them as they are dependant upon them-not us.Wish we could save our tigers,Rhino,Elephant- which are much better and homely.WE need to give pressure to Assam Govt as well Delhi(Delhi will do nothing).

Hi alpana b.,
In just two months, South Africa will lift its 1995 ban on killing elephants to manage their populations. Please join over 6,000 people who have spoken out against this tragic decision today»
Elephants are known to be highly social and intelligent animals, with strong family bonds and complex communication systems.
And elephants are magnificent. Just knowing that elephants walk this planet makes me happy, even though I've never had the joy of seeing one in the wild.
Urge South Africa to maintain their ban on elephant killing and continue exploring non-lethal options for elephant population control.
Here's how culling works: because elephants are so close to their family members, just as we are, they are killed as a family to minimize the trauma to other elephants. Whole family groups are rounded up by helicopters and shot from the air by marksmen.
alpana b., your voice today could make a difference for elephants. Help us let South Africa know we are heartbroken by their decision to kill elephants and we urge them to please reconsider this plan.
Please take one minute to speak out for elephants today!
