[Assam] Should we hold our jatiya sanmelans abroad sometimes?

Why would you hold the annual Sanmilan abroad? When Oxom Xahitya Xobha holds its annual Xonmilon
in Oxom, it is accessible to thousands of interested locals and thousands do attend. What benefit would they get if the Xonmilon
is held in USA that will be attended by a thousand people at the most? 
If the Marathis hold theirs In San Francisco, it will feel like an achievement to the Marathis in USA but it will deprive many in 
Maharashtra of the privilege of attending -  for visa and financial reasons.

Hello everyone? This is my debut communication.

It's a thought. Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sanmelan is proposed to be
held in Sans Francisco Feb next year for the first time ever. The debate is
raging on in Maharashtra currently with supporters and opposers.

Why not ponder about a similar version of Assam Sahitya Sabha Adhiveshon
abroad! Maybe Assamese community size in US cannot justify such an
experiment in comparison to the Marathi strength. Still worth a thought.
