Ram Sarangapani dada,
Nice quoted.sorowfully assam is full of writers, but none seems to take note of colecting beautifull live stories from the vilages or old generations. Here we kharkhowa lack behind.
My father used to tell why British never tried to go to Naga hills. While they did gone to Manipur,Khasi and Jaintia hills easily. Its only that Naga were barbaric, they used to pas urine and stool  from the hill top over the white sahabs. And once they hapen to capture- their heads(skull) will be garland and body will be served to the society. It was, so they never thought of capturing the region.History really say worth of it.
