We are very happy to announce that the long awaited "Learn Assamese with Flash Cards"(USA Version)  have been completed. As announced earlier, these Flash Cards have been formally released on 4th July 2008 in both the Assamese Get Togethers, 'Assam 2008' in Philadelphia and 'Assam Convention 2008' in Atlanta simultaneously. Assamese families in general welcomed the Flash Cards, and in both the conventions, the limited Flash cards packages displayed were sold out. We are glad to note that some members have purchased more than one set.
 
Congratulations to Rupesh Saikia of Houston, Texas for his hard work in publishing the Assamese Flash Cards. 
We hope this will fulfill a great need in the community for teaching the basics of the Assamese language to the younger generation. If you have not already purchased your set, you may order it now.

It may be noted that 'Learn Assamese with Flash Cards" (India version) will soon be published by Bani Mandir, Guwahati with different pricing. Please watch for further announcement.

LEARN ASSAMESE WITH FLASH CARDS: 
 
A unique way to learn the basics of the Assamese language. These Flash Cards are designed to teach the basics of the language through Roman as well as Assamese script. Learn the basic Assamese Alphabet, the correct Assamese Phonemes and more than 150 typical Assamese words with their meaning in English and with proper Assamese pronunciation. There are all total 127 cards in the set of three packages. The set makes an ideal gift for any Assamese abroad for their children and for their non Assamese spouses, friends and neighbors on all occasions. The flash cards are designed such that anybody can learn Assamese on their own. The cards are also great aids for any teacher to teach Assamese to anybody. The cards can also be used by learners for games and quizzes. 

These cards are designed and produced by Rupesh Saikia (Chandra Tora Enterprise, Houston.) The design and phonetics are endorsed by Friends of Assam and Seven Sisters (FASS).
