[Assam] Fw: Stress on Gandhian principles

A man coming al the way from Sydney at this age is really admirable one. Sorrowfully we are unable to recognize the real Gandhian still alive with us at the age of 92 etc..Their woirks with Gandhi, Vinoba Bhabe, Jayprakash Narayan,Lalbahadur Shastri remain untold. But the latest trend of humiliations/ land grabbing from them is very common.Or sending them behind bars quoting ULFA supporters/Traitors by various Govt is very common.
  This is what had happened to my father Pani Ram Das. He is a man of past now.Only Army calls him for Patharughat Day on Jan 29 every year since 2001. Sonia Gandhi organises high tea for freedom fighters at Delhi every year.But if one realy hapen to be there, only will get high volt shock!! Those who born between 1940-50 are there..haaaaa. Its now to difficult to get a real Gandhian or a freedom fighter to narrate the role and value of Gandhi amongst Indian. I personally requested Mr.Gravin to visit my father, he did promised.But how far I am unsure.Sharaniya Ashram(Sarania) must be made background of our developements like before.
  I would also love to request members to get in touch with my father for some god projects in otehr parts and giving lectures on real Gandhian philosophy.Otherwise after death awarding or giving flower garlands will not fulfill for the departed.We ned to learn lot from them and their past.The most important is their long life where now people dies too early.
  WE lost Arun Hazarika silently. Later all came to light... same way it is not that due to Sanjay Dutts movie gandhian philosophy should come up.
  For Assam concerned I hope my father could tell lot better keeping view of new technology.
Because of Gandhain role and adarsha/Principle- he is happy at this age and not tired off going to jail till Assam agitation ended. He is the only Gandhian to remain or keep visiting jails as a prisoner in independant Indian hisotry. At his personal request only Balin Bodoloi was released and well -cared by NDFB. Surely Gandhain philosophy has great value in the NE region being in India.The best way to bring peace and harmony in Assam.
