[Assam] Food Crisis: Bush, Rice and eating rice etc, ; produce less population

I never though that a last name or surname could be twisted in such a way but it does rhyme - Rice saying rice consumption has increasing in India, China etc.

I don't feel too "jokey " about the issue but cannot help recal;;

A bird in hand is worth two in the bush.

If potato prices down in Assam eat more potatoes and forget about rice. 
Produce  more food and less children - in India and China esp.??
