Even it means nothing .. a probe is better than no probe at all.
So many rhinoes are being killed ..it's not a joke. Had it been in a
developed country, the Forest Minister would have lost his seat at the very
second killing. But as I hear, we have one who happens to be the left hand
of our incumbent CM.
I would not be surprised if Ministers, militants, B'deshi migrants, and
maybe some forest officials are also involved.
Like the Tiger projects elsewhere in the country I feel that the numbers of
rhinoes in the wild are also hyped up.. No matter how many get killed
(poaching, natural death, floods)  a round figure of 2000 is alway given for
Kaziranga. That can hardly be true -  I wonder if  the forest dept can given
an estimate of the rhinoes lost last year. This year alone 10 or more have
fallen victim to the guns.
