While going thru an AP world history exam material Document Based Questions last week, with a student of mine  ( we were analyzing "impact of women  on population growth"  although it should have read  -  role of  socio-economic  factors in  women's  lives  and population growth) I was surprised to find out from a  table mentioned in one of the documents  that  in Bangladesh  the average age of  marriage  is only 14.8 years.
