However the USB device is certainly very handy. It works wherever the  
appropriate
cellphone signal is available. I suspect it is similar to smart-phone  
internet access
in the USA. I can access the internet with my iPhone wherever there is  
AT &T signal
available here in the US. But I can't use the laptop with that . I  
suspect there are similar
devices available in the US to plug into the laptop, but it probably  
is not all that popular.
Or it may be expensive.
