C'da,
These are obviously deep questions on the subject of humanity. I am on shaky
ground here :-)
Of course, everyone would agree that we all be kind to other people. Count
me in. We should all also think of their humanity, their destitution, and
certainly NOT apply labels, give them gaalis etc, and attempt to deal with
the problem as humanely as possible.
As far as B'deshi illegals (or other unfortunates) are concerned, we all
have this humanity in us, that you so desire.
It would be wonderful to care for the poor and needy people of Bangladesh IN
Bangladesh, not in India.
Just as soon we finish taking care of the unfortunates in our own
neighborhoods.
The labels, the gaalis, etc are all around us. If they weren't, some of us
wouldn't be keeping some choice words only for the
GOI CRP, the police or military, and not for other players. Some of us see
some as angels, while seeing others as demons.
C'da, it just depends on which side of the fence one is - the other side is
usually the one that is getting the brunt of everything.
