Hello Mr. Mahant,

Hope you are doing well!

Wanted to let you know about a new society I have helped form. Akbar Samaa focuses on collectivizing the top young entrepreneurial talent in India (entrepreneurial can refer to artistic merit or business profit, does not necessarily mean starting companies) and focus on creating a meritocratic, secular India.


I've attached a mission statement in case you'd like to learn more.

I am keen on finding exceptional young men and women (in any field) in the North East because I believe in the region's potential and am hopeful to give them an increased opportunity by interacting with exceptional, entrepreneurial youth from other parts of India. I will send you a list of qualities we look for soon and if you know anyone who fits these qualities, I'd much appreciate you referring us to them so we can begin the application process. I have a couple people at IIT Guwahati who will spearhead our outreach in the North East.


In other news, I am leaving McKinsey in 2-3 weeks to focus on my entrepreneurial ventures from Boston. Any updates on your end?
