The tale tells about Sri Bora's sense of priority in his life where the personal event took a backseat. That's a hallmark of a leader. This particular event, if true (there being a disclaimer), would be a part of events that made up his life and therefore, would help an evaluation. However, it is trite to lament every now and then that we forget someone's contribution. If the amnesia is our nation's characteristic, it cannot be helped, unless someone comes with a magic potion to arouse the people from such amnesia, as the magician in the Hundred Years of Solitude purveyed in Macondo whereby the people of that village achieved lucidity of thought. But, I suppose, the depth and span of one's immortality in the peoples' psyche would depend on how his works and contributions shaped their lives.

As we younger ones in this forum take a lot of pride to be a part of this
forum due to presence of some eminent intellectuals across the globe, I will
truly appreciate feedback, advice and criticism, esp. from our seniors here.
Do post your thoughts in the comments section below the article, if you
could kindly spare few minutes, and we’ll be happy to take these as
improvement potentials.
Thanks a lot in anticipation,
Regards
Priyankan
