Mission Bhumiputra Assam is an online caste Certificate Application portal. On 1st August 2022 chief minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma launched this Mission under the Department of Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes. During this mission, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe (Hills), Scheduled Tribe (Plains), and OBC/MOBC candidates can apply for their Cast certificates from home without visiting any office.
The main focus of this mission is to reduce the difficulty of a student getting a caste certificate. A digitally signed by the respective Deputy Commissioners caste certificate will be issued for the applicant without visiting any office.
According to the Tweet by the Honorable Chief minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma “Eligible Class IX-XII students will now be able to download SC/ST/OBC certificates from http://bhumiputra.assam.gov.in”
We can say this is a very good initiative by the government of Assam.

Required Documents
• Applicant’s Photo: one passport size photo
• Proof of Date of Birth: Available documents for proof of DOB “Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card, PAN, Admit Card issued by any recognized Board”
• Proof of Residence: Documents as a proof of address “Permanent Resident Certificate, Aadhar Card, EPIC, Land Document, Electricity Bill, Ration Card.
• Caste certificate of father: Father’s caste/tribe/community organization notified by state Government certificate.
• Any other document: Voter List, Affidavit ,Existing Caste Certificate etc.
• Upload a Scanned Copy of the Application

- Visit the official site
- If you already registered with this portal login using the ID and Password.
- Now click on the New Application option.
- Fill the form with the required details
- Now upload your required scanned files.
- Now click on Submit (Before Submit the application please review the form carefully. )
- After submit you will get the acknowledgment slip
Keep the acknowledgement slip for future use.
