Eligibility Criteria For SSC MTS & Havaldar Recruitment
Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board as on or before the cut-off date i.e. 17-02-2023.
Age Limit :
The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
- 18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.01.1998 and not later than 01.01.2005) for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).
- 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02.01.1996 and not later than 01.01.2005) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and few posts of MTS.
Relaxation in Upper age limit for different categories are as under:

Nationality/ Citizenship:
A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Pay Scale: Rs. 18000- 56900/- (Level 1 as per 7th CPC pay Matrix)
How to Apply for MTS & Havaldar

- If you apply for the first time in SSC then you have to register first Click on “Online Registration” and complete the registration process
- Now, click on “Online Application Form” Link and Login.
- Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents and photo and signature.
- Candidates are required to upload the scanned colour passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). Image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
- Make payment of application fee as per your category
- Submit
After submission take a print out of the application form for further reference.

Selection Procedure For MTS & Havaldar 2023
The Selection examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar).
